These works from the Gallery Owners’ Collection — that is, from the personal collection of gallery owner Jay Ward Brown and his late husband, the beloved artist Kevin H. Adams — are being offered for sale at Gay Street Gallery as Jay prepares to downsize from his current house to a smaller home in Little Washington. Some are paintings by established artists who were mentors to Kevin in Maryland and Minnesota as he was beginning his artistic career, others are pieces by Rapphannock or other Virginia artists that Kevin and Jay acquired over the years to decorate the homes they shared.
