Kathy Beynette is a multi-media narrative and abstract artist and author of children’s books, calendars and other graphic works published and distributed around the world by Pomegranate, including the classic “When Your Porcupine Feels Prickly.” Kathy finds inspiration in the natural world, literature, current events and fantasy. She now lives and works in Leesburg, and previously kept a studio at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, where she also taught workshops for the Art League Gallery.
